Approach

Networked.
Hardened.
Built to last.

A modern physical security system is a fleet of network-connected devices. The same discipline you apply to servers and switches has to apply to cameras and door controllers — segmentation, patching, monitoring, lifecycle management. We design for that from day one.

Most camera deployments fail in slow motion. The fleet works fine for two years, then firmware stops updating, network bandwidth gets tight, video gets lost during incidents, and replacing it becomes another emergency capital project.

We design physical security systems the same way we design networks — with segmentation, monitoring, lifecycle planning, and clear ownership. So three years in, the system is still doing what you bought it to do.

Our hardware standard for that work is Axis Communications.

What we deliver
  • Site walks & coverage planningField of view, lighting, weatherproofing, and lensing decisions made on-site, not from a floor plan.
  • Network & PoE designSwitch capacity, PoE budget, VLAN segmentation, and uplink sizing that won't choke under load.
  • Cabling & installationCoordinated by our team, with terminations and documentation that match the rest of the build.
  • VMS configurationRecording rules, retention policies, multi-site federation, and operator user management.
  • Ongoing fleet managementFirmware updates, health monitoring, alerting, and scheduled refresh planning.
Our standard

Why we
standardize
on Axis.

Axis Communications invented the IP camera category in 1996 and remains the benchmark for image quality, build quality, cyber hygiene, and platform openness. That's exactly what you want in a fleet of devices that will sit on your network for the next decade.

There are cheaper cameras. There are flashier cameras. But for the kind of work we do — surveillance fleets that need to keep working, stay patched, and produce footage that's actually useful when something happens — Axis is the right answer.

It's also the right answer when you care about your own cybersecurity posture. The flood of low-cost IP cameras on the market over the last decade brought a parallel flood of supply-chain risks, default-credential vulnerabilities, and hardcoded backdoors. Axis takes those concerns seriously, publishes vulnerability disclosures responsibly, and ships signed firmware.

If you have an existing fleet from another vendor and aren't sure whether to replace it, we'll tell you straight. Some fleets we keep running. Most we replace.

  • /A
Axis devices are designed as networked endpoints first — with strong default cyber hardening, signed firmware, and a clear vulnerability disclosure program. They behave like proper IT assets, because that's what they are.
  • /B
ONVIF compliance and an open VMS ecosystem mean you're never trapped on a single video management platform. If your needs change, your hardware doesn't have to.
  • /C
Lightfinder for low-light, Forensic WDR for high-contrast scenes, and Zipstream for efficient bandwidth use — these aren't marketing words, they produce footage that's actually useful when you need to identify someone.
  • /D
Axis hardware is supported with firmware updates for years past install. Your investment stays current, your attack surface stays small, and refresh cycles can be planned instead of forced.
  • /E
Government, healthcare, education, and critical infrastructure organizations standardize on Axis for the same reasons we do — supply-chain transparency, NDAA compliance considerations, and a long track record of responsible disclosure.
  • /F
Axis Communications builds a full physical security ecosystem — access control, network audio, intercoms, body-worn cameras, and analytics — that lets us standardize an entire deployment on a single, well-supported platform.

Beyond cameras

Access control
that actually
integrates.

Most organizations end up with surveillance and access control as separate systems, run by different vendors, recorded to different places. We deploy them as one.

Camera-paired entries

Every access event recorded with the matching video frame. When somebody badges in, you see who actually walked through.

Identity-driven credentials

Credentials provisioned and de-provisioned alongside Active Directory accounts. When someone leaves, both their network access and their door access end at the same moment.

Mobile credentials

Phone-based access for staff and contractors, with revocation that takes seconds instead of weeks-of-lost-key-cards.

Audit trail that holds up

Centralized event logging, retention aligned with policy, and reports that can be pulled in minutes when HR or legal needs them.
